Why would we want to do this?
Branding things is fun and a long-established ranch tradition.

What are the basic rules?
One of us could read up on brands used in the old West and come up with a brief for the rest. At Cold Time Camp, we could make a brand for each one who comes to camp. We could then draw (or make a rod of steel with the art on the end) the brand on logs or on small discs. We could have a game to see who can make the best brand for Cold Time Camp, then make that one a real brand and use it.

Are there any variations we should consider?
Each one could trade discs to make a set of things to keep to help us keep those who were at camp with us in mind.We could brand a log and take it home. There could be a brand for Cold Time Camp, one for the Goons, one for the group of old men who will come years from now.
