Describe the Activity: We pick a relatively simple game and attempt to write a set of rules for playing it that will produce a victory or at least a challenging game. The game probably has to be relatively simple, like Tic-Tac-Toe.

Why would we want to do this?It would be fun to create the rules and then use them to figure out what to do next. Teams could complete to see whose rules are better.
What are the basic rules?Maybe we limit ourselves to a flow chart with either a number of boxes or text description of the rules which fits on some number of pages.
Are there any variations we should consider?Tic-Tac-Toe might be very obvious and potentially doable. I also think we could try some less obvious games like No Thanks!, Apples to Apples, Zendo, and even Zombies!!! or Risk. Some of those might be more humorous than strategic.
What preparation will we need?
What special equipment will we need?Copies of the game, maybe a flowchart template.
What instructions are there for participants?
